OOC: I thought it could make things just a bit simpler...)) Goldenfur smiled at Smokeyeyes's question, ''Definitely, I think these two need a bit of 'alone' time." She nodded at Cobalteyes and mouthed the words "Until next time," before walking over to Smokeyeyes. When she was sure they were out of earshot she looked at her friend a laughed, a sound of pure joy, before asking "Smokey, do you remember Cobaltpaw?" She used that name because it brought back less grief than the other name, which in the clans was despised. With the apprentice name she could remember all the Gatherings they had spent laughing, their lives had been so carefree back then. But now she knew that Cobalteyes's never had been... Cobalteyes merely nodded at Goldenfur's question, shocked that Blackberry wasn't angry at her, wasn't wanting to yell at her because he thought she was joking. Once the two queens had left she walked slowly over to Blackberry and laid her head on his shoulder. (is that possible for cats!?) "Blackberry, I meant every word I said, you are my life and no matter how hard just surviving may be, my life will always be perfect, if you are near me." Her voice dropped off near the end so the last part was barely more than a whisper, "If you are mine."

((OOC: Where are Goldenfur and Smokeyeyes heading now))?
Smokeyeyes frowned slightly, then realised why she did not recognise the name. She sighed lightly, still maintaining the questioning look. "I don't recall her... But then, I have not been of SunClan all my life. Did she leave? Who is she?" She couldn't hold back the questions.

Blackberry surveyed her beautiful face and sighed deeply, smiling. He leaned against her also so that they were giving the equivalent of a twoleg hug. "Not so very long ago I would have shouted back in your face for you to stop lying. You're not lying are you? Because I'm not lying when I say-" could he ge the words out? "When I say... I love you too. I love you Cobalteyes." He closed his eyes as he felt the weight being lifted off him. "I was afraid to say it but I mean it." He stepped away slightly and looked her in the eyes, "I am yours," he whispered.

OOC: No idea, they could be walking towards SunClan territory though never really get there...))
Goldenfur decided now was the best time to tell Smokeyeyes before she got a different version from the other clancats. "Back before you came, when I was an apprentice my best friend was Cobalteyes. She was in RainClan and we always met up at Gatherings, Cobaltpaw was fun, determined and always smiling and ready to make me feel better whenever I was sad. However when she became a warrior I started to realise that she had never really been happy. I began to hear from other members of her clan that she was often excluded by other members of her age group, though all the elders loved her. Two moons after that Gathering she didn't come and I heard she had gotten into a fight with another queen meaning neither of them were allowed to come. It wasn't until the next Gathering that I learnt Cobalteyes had snapped and killed the queen when everyone else was at the Gathering." She caused to catch her breath and finished with, "I never knew why she did it until today."

Smokeyeyes frowned slightly. It was beyond her how any cat who could be considered 'nice' could murder anyone. But then she trusted Goldenfur's judge of character... "I..." she attempeted to say something, "I'm not sure what to say..." Then as she stopped walking for a second, she sighed. "I suppose I don't understand... I didn't know her... I've never even heard anyone speak of her before now..." She looked at her friend carefully. "Was she dear to you? Do you miss her?"

"Yes," Goldenfur sighed, "though we both have different values now and society [hehehe!] demands that I distance myself from her." "Anyway," she began again," she's changed and so have I, I suppose." She kept walking, shaking her head in dismay. Suddenly she sprung onto Smokeyeyes and gently pushed her to the ground. "I also have you, you old furball," she laughed...
