Blackberry came to an abrupt stop after having been springting for quite a while. He ached on the outside and the in. His heart felt as if it would break. Why did he pull away? Why couldn't he let Cobalteyes in? He hated her so much, but today he had learned that he also loved her.
His legs gave way and he growled at the top of his lungs. I hate you! he addressed himself in his mind.

OOC: Such angry feelings! Lol ))
OOC: Sorry, I have to powerplay Smokeyeys slightly in this))
Goldenfur snuck out from the clanlands, hearing a sparrow chirp behind her, she jumped and remembered to check behind her to see if Smokeyeyes was still following. She was. They continued bravely towards the hollow that was rumoured to be the rogue's meeting place. Upon reaching it Goldenfur looked down and saw a large tom lying on the ground, Blackberry! "Well this is better than we hoped for," she addressed Smokeyeyes over her shoulder...

Smokeyeyes felt a strange sensation in the pit of her stomach. They had just left the heated Gathering with Froststar's strange behaviour. She already felt exceedingly confused and now her friend had made her mind boggle further. "What do you mean?" she asked in a whisper. "Are you sure... He's a fierce fighter, I've heard... And... Would Dovestar dissaprove?" Then she shook her head and sighed. "You're right, Goldenfur. We should take the opportunity. It's just that he looks so sad and... angry."
Despite her confusion, Smokeyeyes felt herself sinking lower to the ground. Her muscles preparing themselves for a fight.

((OOC: Oh my goodness! They're going to hurt one of my favourite cats! Run Blackberry! Run!))
Blackberry knew he was asleep. He knew he shouldn't risk being asleep in such an open area. The anger still whelled inside him. It burned his heart and he felt... helpless. Did he sense other cats? Maybe he was imagining it. He must be dreaming. Did he care whether he was dreaming or not? Did he care if they cut his throat? Something to ponder... For now he'd just lay there...

Saffron was still limping slightly, but her tiny, light form made it easy for her to wander without making a sound. As she approached the so-called 'Loner's Meeting Place', she sensed, rather than saw, the presense of other cats and she crouched low to the ground as she continued forwards.
A moment later she found herself directly behind two she-cats. Their scent was strange to her. Her mother had told her briefly that four 'Clans' existed in the forest. These cats obviously weren't loners (they didn't smell rough or of crow-food) and so Saffy assumed they weren't in their own 'territory'.
Carefully, ever-so-carefully, she crept slightly to the left of them, still covered (mostly) by low-hanging branches. Suddenly her eyes widened for a moment as something pulled at her thoughts. She was gazing at the she-cat who stood slightly behind her ginger companion...
Her fur held an uncanny resemblance to her own, only without the tinge of peach. Her eyes were also different to Saffron's but there was something in them... Then it struck her. The eyes she was seeing on this stranger were the eyes of her dead mother. No, it could not be a mistake. Her mother's eyes were one of a kind. The she-cat's eyes were an exact copy! Exact!
Saffy stood there, staring, staring, staring... The companions spoke to one-another. They could turn of Saffron at any second, but she would not notice. Staring, staring, staring... An exact copy... The scar! Saffy moved again, behond them once more. Yes! The scar was there! The small, but obvious scar on her's, her mother's and... this strangers, back leg. The same!
Her mind boggled, she felt herself beginning to shake with a hope... A fierce hope... But... No. It couldn't be so. No. No. No. Impossible. Saffy shivvered as she felt something like tears stinging behind her eyes. She backed slowly away, and then began to sprint. She didn't care how much her leg hurt. She didn't care how much noise she made.
Could it really be so..?..
Saffron was gone from the area within a minute. Not even taking a second to glance back.

Something caught Smokeyeyes' eye. Another cat was crouched in the trees to her and Goldenfur's left. She turned, ever-so-slightly and her eyes widened.
Oh gosh, Smokey! she thought to herself. Now you're seeing things. The cat looked almost like... well... herself! Obviously lack of sleep had effected her in a very strange (and big) way.
Smokeyeyes turned away again and awaited a sign from Goldenfur. She would think nothing of what she thougth she'd seen. She certainly wouldn't say anything either!

OOC: I'm so sorry it has taken this long!!! *Begs for forgiveness*))
Cobalteyes paced along the top of the hollow, reminiscing about the heated argument she had, had with another rogue at the last meeting. However every minute Blackberry’s face came into her mind. She chose to give in to the temptation and just thought about the look in Blackberry’s eyes when he revived her from her coma. Simultaneously she also gave into the fact that she had been avoiding since that moment, she loved him. “I love him,” she spoke, startling herself. How could you give in she thought furiously. He hates you! This battle continued until she just shut both sides out of her head and decided to go hunting. As she reached the end of the hollow she looked down again, hearing voices. She noted the two clancats sneaking towards a curled up cat on the ground with a dark pelt. She looked again, she knew that pelt! “Blackberry!” she cried, leaping down the sides of the hollow, oblivious to the gorse scratching her pelt. She cannoned into the side of the ginger queen and after waiting for her to stand up again leapt onto her back hissing. Whatever happened today, she would not let Blackberry die.

Goldenfur pounced. She had waited for this moment for so long. Blackberry was a legend among the clans for his ruthless attitude, expressionless masks and being a fierce fighter. She was so exultant at this opportunity that she never heard the cry from the top of the hollow and didn’t notice the silver pelted queen streaking towards her until she had her on her back.

Did someone call his name? That voice... He was sure he recognised it...
Blackberry heard a cat coming towards him. A she-cat, he thought, still with his eyes closed. He felt claws on his back, but before he could throw her off, or even open his eyes, she let go. Now that he actually knew he was being attacked, instinct got the better of him and his eyes snapped open.
If he did not constantly have such a strong barrier over his thoughts and expressions, he would have gasped. As it was, Blackberry frowned deeply at the sight of Cobalteyes and a clan cat who he recognised as Goldenfur of SunClan. Cobalteyes... "Cobalteyes!?" he exclaimed, and then he leaped forwards to help her. Did she save me..?..
Suddenly another set of claws grabbed his fur and pulled him backwards, away from the ginger she-cat. He yowled to show his anger, before spinning around to face a tabby she-cat. He could not put a name to the face, but she was obviously another young warrior from SunClan.
Smokeyeyes hissed loudly at Blackberry. Her claws were unsheathed, her teeth clenched, but then... so were his. Oh his claws! They were so long and sharp! She returned his yowl and lauched herself forwards again. All thoughts of her halucination fled.
Their claws trying desperately to rake eachother's flesh, they scrambled around the clearing. One had enormous strength, the other had been trained and taught tactics. They were very nearly equal.

Goldenfur flipped the queen off her back and looked at her attacker lying in the dust. Her eyes widened, it couldn't be. "Cobalteyes?" she asked, not quite believing what was happening. The silver pelted queen looked up at her, shocked. "Goldenfur," she breathed. "I'm sorry for what I put you through. If I'd told you what I planned though, I feared you would have told me something like 'just ignore her.' But it wasn't just her, I had to get out, they all hated me."

Blackberry heard the words of Goldenfur and Cobalteyes. What were they talking about? However, his thoughts vanished as he dodged a flying paw of the tactful tabby. "You'll have to try a little bit harder!" he yowled and he lunged himself onto her back. "Oh don't worry," she pulled him off straight away and struck him on the side, "I will!"

Goldenfur looked at her old friend. "SunClan would have taken you in, if you'd just talked to me..." "And caused a war between the clans because of me?" Cobalteyes interrupted. "trust me Goldenfur, I'm not worth it." She began to turn away, but Goldenfur stopped her with a paw. "Why did you risk your life for him?” Goldenfur asked, her voice laced with worry. Cobalteyes replied so softly that Goldenfur had to shake her head, indicating that she couldn’t hear over the snarling of the other cats, which had just gotten noticeably louder. Goldenfur blinked, had she imagined that look of disgust that had flashed across Cobalteyes as she spoke? “I love him! I always will! I will love him and no other until the end of time!” Cobalteyes shouted her voice full of an emotion Goldenfur never thought Cobalteyes would (or could) have, love…

((OOC: Ooooo! I certainly didn't guess she'd just blurt it all out))!!!
Both Smokeyeyes and Blackberry stopped still and took a tiny step away from each other.
Smokeyeyes studied her friend's face which watched Cobalteyes'. Did they know each other? She had not been listening to the cats during their seperate fight, but they did seem familiar to one another... She shot a questioning look at the ginger Queen but didn't expect it to be answered.
Blackberry had other things on his mind. The world seemed to blurr slightly before his eyes when he heard those words. He could concentrate on nothing else and was happy to see his attacker also paused. Cobalteyes LOVED him? Until the end of time? Had he missheard? He hadn't missheard! She loved him! She loved him and he loved her! Until the end of time...
Suddenly both cats sprang to life again, and at the exact same moment jumped back towards each other. Well, not quite the same moment; Blackberry was slightly quicker. He raked a long, sharp set of claws along her back and then jumped away again. Smokeyeyes couldn't help but smile at him. "True to your reputation," she purred. Then she walked towards Goldenfur. "Okay to go?" she murmured. Blackberry smiled too. Reputation? He looked at Cobalteyes.
