Snowstar, the great leader of SnowClan, stood beneath the great Oak silently. One observing her may think she was in some kind of Otherworld by the way her eyes were fixed straight, unblinkingly ahead. Her jet-black fur lay calmly flat against her back and yet her deadly claws dug into the soft earth.
She was reminiscing of the time when she had first been named the new leader of SnowClan. Her mother had wanted it so badly and it had felt like she had been trained for it all of her life, and yet, it had come as quite a shock. Not that she wasn't happy to have the chance to prove herself beyond belief; it was just that she didn't feel quite prepared for the amount of responsibility she now held. She didn't ever want to let her Clan down, but the times of late were proving tough. She was yet to think of what would happen at the looming Gathering that night. Froststar would be there. Froststar was to be feared above all.
What would Snowstar say? She felt lost. "StarClan!" she pleeded softly, "Show me the way. I need your guidance."

She padded slowly to the Great Oak, the she-cat thought a walk would clear her thoughts of what would happen at the Gathering. Seeing Snowstar she quickened her pace. "Hello..." Crowpelt dipped her head in greeting, and in respect. Penny copper optics stared up at the Great Oak. Silently she sat beside her leader, curling her tail around her paws.
Yes...he was called to. But he only made himself visible to Snowstar. A frown was curled on his maw. Orange optics stared down at the black she-cat. "Snowstar...our ways...the honor of being a warrior....its slipping...flowing down the river of Rain...and turning to Frost." The tom was like a huge ball of fire. Orange and red tabby pelt was flat against his lean body.

"Crowpelt," Snowstar acknowledged the Queen with a brief smile and flick of the tail.
However, a lot of her attention was held, at that moment, on the image of Blazingstar which was so bold, and yet slightly faded, before her eyes. Knowing that Blazingstar could hear her, she spoke to him in her mind, "I know, I know. But to me Froststar seems... well... I do not see how to defeat her. I am lost. Please guide me tonight."
Then she turned her troubled eyes towards Crowpelt again and she spoke kindly. "It is growing late," she mewed, glancing at the evening sky. "We do not want to be late for the gathering." With that, she rose to her feet and let out a short purr. "We must leave now." Knowing that her clan's warrior would follow, she set of at a brisk pace, back towards the camp so that she could assemble the others and set out to Fourtrees.
((OOC: Snowstar will now be found at the actual gathering with the rest of SnowClan)).
