Name Cobalteyes
Gender Female
Age 14 moons
Position Warrior
Clan Rogue
Kin None that she knows of
Appearance Cobalteyes beauty is of a pedigree used only in legends. Because of this it has been rumoured that her father (an unknown cat) was one of the great StarClan cats come down to earth from Silverpelt as her mother was no great beauty. She has bright, sapphire eyes gently blended into her grey fur which is a steel colour gently tinged with silver hairs giving her a glistening, ghostly look in the moonlight. Her ears are sculpted perfectly into a tip at the top of her head. Even her tail matches up to these standards with its curve and length. However like all beautiful cats she can be vain and selfish, constantly grooming her fur.
Personality Cobalteyes is vain, ever since an early age her beauty has been marvelled at and she has been treated like royalty by the elders. But all this attention meant that the other apprentices excluded her, so she started to spend more and more time on becoming a better warrior. While she was training she learnt to hate. Her mind started to dwell on everything Leopardpaw (her worst enemy) had said and done to her. However rather than talking to her mentor, an understanding cat called Loudbelly, she bottled up her emotions, this mistake changed the way her life turned out drastically. It is hard to tell now whether Cobalteyes is happy or not as she hides all her emotions behind a blank, expressionless mask.
History Cobalteyes mother staggered into RainClan camp late one night when she was heavily pregnant, later that week she kitted and had Cobaltkit. Sadly shortly after she had given birth her mother died. Even at this age Cobaltkit was gaped at and treasured, she soon became part of a clan who did not want to lose her. Cobaltpaw was apprenticed at six moons as was customary, but all the other apprentices who were jealous of the attention she got, excluded her and made her feel unwelcome. The leader of this abuse was Leopardpaw who would make sure that Cobaltpaw had to sleep near the entrance of the cave because she had rogue parentage. Cobaltpaw feeling lost and alone put herself through physically punishing exercises to become a better warrior than her tormentors. She began to hate the other apprentices and greatly desired revenge. She became a full warrior at 12 moons at the same time as Leopardpaw who was two months older than her. Despite all of Cobalteyes hopes to have more friends when she became a warrior, it looked like Leopardfur was going to make the entire clan hate her. One night Cobalteyes snapped, she hated Leopardfur and she hated the clan, the apprentices who had mistreated her, the warriors who had just stood by and the elders who’s adoration had caused it. She was going to kill Leopardfur and she didn’t care about the consequences. Cobalteyes seized her chance one day picking a fight with Leopardfur meaning neither of them could go to the gathering. She stole into the warrior’s den when Leopardfur was sleeping and killed her. Straight after doing this Cobalteyes ran out of the lands of the clans to the Sorrowpack camp, she found that this life suited her far better and has become a fearsome fighter who can still charm any clancat who does not know who she is.
IC All of the RainClan cats left for the gathering in high spirits, all except for Leopardfur and Cobalteyes who had been banned from the next two gatherings because of their constant fighting. Cobalteyes cheerfully accepted guarding the camp while Leopardfur decided to go to sleep.
After about an hour Cobalteyes noted that the rest of the clan had still not returned, now was the time to strike! Her paws padded noiselessly across the clearing and peered in checking that Leopardfur was asleep. Sure enough her eyes were closed and a thin stream of drool was coming down her cheek. Cobalteyes stalked across the den and looked down on her worst enemy. She unsheathed her claws and padded Leopardfur on the flank, “Its time for guard duty she muttered.” Alright Leopardfur accepted groggily standing up and stretching. While her back was turned Cobalteyes leapt on her back and fastened her teeth into the back of her neck. “Mrow?” Leopardfur mumbled. Leaping off her back and staring straight into her rival’s eyes which were already weakened with loss of blood Cobalteyes snapped “You made my apprenticeship torment and even when now you are trying to make the entire clan hate me.” “You’ll never get away with it,” Leopardfur spat. “I’m not staying in this clan afterwards, I couldn’t hate it more,” snarled Cobalteyes. Without warning Cobalteyes returned to her perch on Leopardpaw’s back and bit down on her neck with all her might, Leopardpaw gave one final convulsion and was still. Straining her ears Cobalteyes could hear the sound of the clan returning from the gathering, her survival instincts took over and she dashed across the camp not stopping until she reached the undergrowth on the other side. Peering out from a large bush she saw the first RainClanners enter the camp, a group of apprentices followed by some warriors who automatically headed for the warrior’s den. Cobalteyes suddenly realised that now was the time to go and she sped away from the RainClan camp never to return.
